Brandon Michael from World by Storm (www.worldXstorm.com) takes the Master Mentalist Erik Dobell to the World's Biggest Pancake Griddle!
Or maybe it's the World's Second Biggest Pancake Griddle? It's still pretty big.
Weighing in at over 10 tons and measuring 28ft across, it was used to cook the World's Largest Pancake in 1987. You can see it for yourself at Birkett Mills (www.BirkettMills.com) in Penn Yan, New York!
PS: Sorry about the camera shake. It was really, really, wicked cold that day.
The Master Mentalist Erik Dobell enjoys some breakfast at the world famous Penn Yan Diner with Brandon Michael from World by Storm!
The Penn Yan Diner (http://pennyandiner.com) first opened in Penn Yan, New York in 1925 and if it looks a little different that's because it is made from an actual train car. (On a side note, Penn Yan is a syllabic abbreviation of "Pennsylvania Yankee", so take that to trivia night!)
When you go to the Penn Yan Diner, you'll also notice that many of their dishes are named after members of the family that owns the restaurant. Brandon got the "Sean" and Erik got the "Loaded Tater Tots" which is a strange thing to name a child.
While we wait for our food Erik talks to former traveling performer and musician Brandon Michael about World by Storm (www.worldXstorm.com) and he tells us when he started the business, how he got the name and what they do!
